Chris Jericho's bloody assault on Shawn Michaels kicked off a thrilling first third of 2003's Rumble, with 'HBK' returning from his early elimination to deck 'Y2J' after 38 impressive minutes in the match.

A latter stage saw all of WWE's big hitters battle it out, and it was giant by design. Winner Brock Lesnar had to be seen as the best of all the other 'Beast's en route to his 'Show Of Shows' main event showdown.
