Ranking EVERY WWE Royal Rumble Match From Worst To Best

6. 2018 (Women)

The inaugural women's Royal Rumble match set out to be one of the best incarnations of the gimmick, and achieved its stated aim with a brilliantly-booked mix of new names and nostalgia along with flashes of fire-power when required.

For the most part, every current name looked a cut above the one-night returnees, with Asuka, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch all shining on one of the biggest nights in the division's history. Affording Michelle McCool the biggest number of eliminations (five) was a curious - if not entirely unwelcome -- addendum. Records, after all, are made to be broken.
