Ranking EVERY WWE Royal Rumble Match From Worst To Best

7. 2004

Understandably lost to hidden corners of the WWE Network because of Chris Benoit's omnipresence, the 2004 Royal Rumble match still has a lot to offer even if 'The Rabid Wolverine's tearful success story is a little too much to stomach.

Randy Orton and Mick Foley's blood feud came back to life, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar butted heads ahead of their WrestleMania clash, Kane was frightened witless by the teased return of his buried brother, and Jim Ross and Taz provide an intelligent and logical dual-brand soundtrack when such separation still mattered. It is, by some distance, the best Rumble of its generation.
