The Good: A near-10 minute Royal Rumble closing sequence between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels was insanely entertaining, and served as the first act in a six-year story that took in another Royal Rumble and four WrestleManias. Elsewhere, John Cena kicked off arguably the best in-ring year of his career with a blistering and bloody effort with Umaga, whilst The Hardy Boyz and MNM had yet another superb pay-per-view opener after doing much the same at ECW's disastrous December To Dismember.

The Bad: Batista's World Championship defence against Mr Kennedy managed to turn the crowd on 'The Animal' just months before his WrestleMania show-stealer with The Undertaker won them all back around. The match wasn't terrible, but it was made worse by the audience's disdain for yet another top babyface.

The Ugly: Bobby Lashley and Test's rank ECW Championship match did little to reheat the brand after the woeful pay-per-view debut in December, not least when it went to a pathetically cheap count-out finish after seven minutes.
