Royal Rumble
WWE

The Good: The Royal Rumble match is considered by many to be the best of its kind, but the rest isn't half bad either. The New Foundation's opener with the Orient Express acts as a slightly inferior sequel to The Rockers match one year prior, but still steals the show anyway. Rowdy Roddy Piper is incredibly over, soaking up vociferous acclaim when he steamrolls The Mountie for the Intercontinental Championship.

The Bad: The Legion Of Doom's Tag Team Title defence against The Natural Disasters disappoints, but the booking was perhaps blockaded by Hawk and Animal's increasing awkward relations with WWE at this point.

The Ugly: The Bushwhackers and The Beverly Brothers go just short of 15 minutes in a contest that's neither a break nor filler. Something so uncompromisingly terrible shouldn't have even been allowed on the pay-per-view, let alone permitted to last a quarter of an hour.
