Ranking EVERY WWE Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View From Worst To Best

The Good: Another firm favourite amongst Rumble afficianadoes, the 2001 edition was perhaps the first fleeting tease of the Attitude Era's WrestleMania X-Seven demise. A host of characters came and went (often at the hands of iron man and serial eliminator Kane) in a match that played like a greatest hits package for the era. A bloody Steve Austin winning it all underscored the theme rather succinctly.
The Bad: Kurt Angle's WWE Championship encounter with Triple H was designed to get over respective seconds Trish Stratus and Stephanie McMahon, as well as Hunter and 'The Rattlesnake's rivalry. Not bad in theory, but Angle himself was discredited and the match was dishwater dull as a result.
The Ugly: Chyna's feigned neck injury wasn't remotely believable, and the reusing of Jerry Lawler rushing the ring a la Owen Hart's death left an extremely sour taste in the mouth about the entire thing.
