Survivor Series
WWE

The Good: There was a bizarre brilliance about seeing Shawn Michaels team with Rey Mysterio, The Great Khali and Cryme Tyme in the opener, whilst the star-heavy Team Orton/Team Batista match later in the show also offered flashes of brilliance from a beleaguered midcard.

The Bad: John Cena's return from injury fed into his squash victory over Chris Jericho but ended 'Y2J's incredible year with a resounding thud. A Divas Survivor Series match saw the eliminations raced through in order to protect the integrity of those than simply couldn't wrestle the standard required.

The Ugly: Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov contested one of the worst matches in the show's history until Edge took the place of the suspiciously-injured Jeff Hardy in the WWE Championship triple threat. 'The Rated-R Superstar' was booked as a cynical opportunist, but he was for the fans a last-gasp life-saver.
