A glorious debut for an over-cooked stipulation that somehow wedged itself into WWE's gimmicked future (despite barely fitting into the building), the inaugural Elimination Chamber was staffed well, and delivered a war befitting the reincarnation of an elder ring general.

Shawn Michaels' World Title reign wasn't long for the world - he dropped it back to best bud Triple H just a month later - but the sight of his emotional redemption inside the terrifying structure elevated the already-exceptional.
