WWE tried three times to get this match on the go (sound familiar?), with Stone Cold Steve Austin's insistence on spoiling every aspect of Bret Hart's life ultimately feeding into the finish of the eventual contest too.

Having decked both Champion and Challenger earlier in the night, 'The Rattlesnake' swung a chair at 'The Hitman' when he appeared to have Sid beaten in the Sharpshooter. Yet more fury for Hart to harbour ahead of his heel turn, this magnificently reignited the programme between the pair ahead of a WrestleMania 13 match that changed everything.
