Easily the least memorable of all the WWE Championship changes on Raw - if not the exact dirt worst, obviously - an injury to Batista forced the company to crown somebody else in his absence.

Rather than booking a tournament or at very least coming up with something a little more creative, WWE offered the blandest outcome. Triple H, John Cena, The Big Show and eventual winner Randy Orton were the least interesting people to put back amongst the mix when an opportunity emerged to do something new.
