Playing better now than it perhaps did at the time, Roman Reigns's WWE Championship victory over Sheamus looks for all intents and purposes that the company had finally gotten him over as the hero he'd been deigned to be since The Shield first split.

This obviously wasn't the case (and never really would be) but the McMahons mixing in and the crowd's annoyed apathy towards 'The Celtic Warrior' did so much for 'The Big Dog' as he reclaimed what had been taken from him a month earlier at the Survivor Series.
