21. WrestleMania IV - Randy Savage Vs. Ted DiBiase
The culmination of a 14-man tournament to crown a new WWF World Champion, WrestleMania IV was closed out by Randy Savage defeating Ted DiBiase to take home the promotion's biggest prize.
With many predicting a formulaic night of Hulkamania running wild, brother, both the Hulkster and Andre the Giant were eliminated at the quarter-finals stage after their match together ended in a double DQ. For babyface Savage, he won three matches to get to the tournament final, whilst the Million Dollar Man only had to work two, receiving a bye because of the Hogan-Andre situation.
Savage vs. DiBiase was solid, with both men clearly incredibly talented between the ropes. The only issue is, the pair often felt overshadowed here by the ringside presence of Hulk and Andre - with the Hulkster even having to get involved to help Savage win, then sharing the spotlight with Macho post-match.
