The Ultimate Challenge saw WWF Champion Hulk Hogan face off against Intercontinental Champion Ultimate Warrior in a winner-takes-all contest that was far better than it ever had any right to be.

On paper, this was one passable worker and one awful worker who both only knew how to get their own sh*t in. Miraculously, Hogan and Warrior delivered one of the best matches of either man's career.

The story goes, Pat Patterson meticulously put this contest together, running through each and every spot with the two competitors. Regardless, immense credit has to go to the Hulkster and the Ultimate One, with the Skydome crowd making this feel truly electric.

Once the dust settled, Ultimate Warrior emerged victorious, hitting a big splash on his rival after Hogan had missed a leg drop. Of course, in typical Hogan fashion, he kicked out at 3.1 and then proceeded to turn a torch-passing post-match moment into one where he instead took way too much of Warrior's spotlight.
