While it wasn't as bad as seeing 'Santina' Marella win the Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal, nor was it as underwhelming as seeing Rey Mysterio defeat JBL in 22 seconds, the 'Mania 25 main event of Triple H vs. Randy Orton was just so meh.

To be fair, it would've been a near-impossible task for any match to steal the show away from Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker on this night, but it didn't help that the main event WWE Title contest went for 25 minutes and was based around a pretty dumb storyline.

If you remember, this was a rivalry that had Triple H walking into 'Mania as the babyface WWE Champion who was essentially defending the McMahon family name after Orton had targeted Stephanie, Shane, and Vince. The problem was, a good portion of fans ended up cheering on the heel Randy due to the simple fact that nobody particularly wanted to support the McMahons.

With a stipulation in place where the Game could lose the WWE Title should he be counted out or disqualified, the match dragged massively as a confused crowd struggled to be engaged in what they were watching. And what did they ultimately watch? Why, that'd be Triple H retaining the WWE Championship, of course.
