24. Hulk Hogan Vs Sid Justice (WrestleMania 8)

Hulk Hogan was more than happy to walk away from a scandal-ridden WWE after one last WrestleMania payday in 1992, but he probably wasn't as chuffed to have his finisher killed seconds before exiting. The shrunken impotence of a b*llsed-up Papa Shango run-in late in the contest meant that Sid Justice got to kick out of his legendary legdrop just weeks before bailing himself.

'The Hulkster' had become the orange face of a growing steroid investigation targeting the organisation and industry at large, with his opponent having allegedly secretly tested positive for banned substances before their match even occurred. Sid worked this match and the European Tour that immediately followed, but neither covered themselves in glory in an unexpected double farewell.

Less heated than any of Hogan's prior WrestleMania battles, the ponderous clash wasn't really getting anywhere fast before Charles Wright's new voodoo man experienced a similar problem. Even the electricity of the Ultimate Warrior's shock return was undone by his suspiciously altered appearance.
