25. Triple H Vs Chris Jericho (WrestleMania 18)

The most palatable of Triple H's turgid trio of topliners when viewed separately from the rest of the card, Chris Jericho's loss to 'The Game' at least attempted to extract some enthusiasm from a crowd utterly exhausted by the Hulk Hogan/Rock contest half an hour earlier.

The two had also to compete with a miserable go-home programme centred around Hunter and ex-wife Stephanie McMahon's disputed dog Lucy. It was just another insipid chapter in a story full of them that didn't even prominently feature the first and only man to pin The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in the same night.

Worse still, the contest relied upon the heat reaching a fever pitch for Stephanie to take the Pedigree rather than Jericho himself. Once the 'Billion Dollar Princess' had been floored, fans weren't interested in the Challenger's academic pinfall.
