17. Ted Dibiase Vs Randy Savage (WrestleMania 4)

Ted Dibiase and Randy Savage were justified in their need to take it easy in the final match of a long WWE Title tournament at WrestleMania 4, but it wasn't helped by the fact that they (and every other contender) had adopted an identical approach in every other round too.

The key beats are enjoyable enough, with Andre The Giant and Hulk Hogan's respective interjections for their charges adding star power and story, but the action in between is a decidedly pedestrian way for the Macho Man to ascend to the summit. Minuscule seeds of insecurity sown in the title celebration are absolutely magnificent in hindight, at least.
