27. The Miz Vs John Cena (WrestleMania 27)

A match with all the potential in the world sadly lived up to none of it as WWE booking piled insult on to Miz' frightening early injury.

After suffering a concussion in the contest, retaining the WWE Title was little more than a starry-eyed surprise for the 'A-Lister' when The Rock interjected himself following the contest's weak double countout finish. Designed purely to allow 'The Great One's interruption (and subsequent interference), John Cena losing meant substantially more than Miz winning due to almost unanimous focus placed upon the bothersome 'Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment'.

The Champion had just enough about him to go through with the planned cheap ending, but still had to suffer the indignity of a Rock Bottom in order to send the fans home happy and ensure that Rock kept virtually all of his heat for himself rather than supplanting some upon a lukewarm titleholder in need.
