When Muhammad Hassan and Daivari were making life difficult for Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid reached out to Hulk Hogan and asked for his assistance, pleading with him to have one more match. And when things got ugly for Michaels in Madison Square Garden, The Hulkster answered the call.
The second that Hogan's theme began playing, the New York audience rose to their feet and screamed with adoration. As the icon walked down the aisle in the world's most famous arena, we instantly knew that he was home again. And he proved it when he and Michaels teamed up to eject Hassan and Daivari from the ring. The two legends then posed together before the excited crowd.
From the audience's reaction to Hogan's teaming with Michaels, this was one of the most feelgood moments in WWE history and it truly reminded us just how magical pro-wrestling can be. It was amazing to see Hogan return home to The Garden and receive such a rapturous response in what was undoubtedly a full-circle moment for him.
