Ranking Hulk Hogan's WWE Returns From Worst To Best

9. Mr. America Makes An Electrifying Debut - SmackDown (1 May 2003)

During Hogan's 2003 program with Vince McMahon, the WWE Chairman benched his rival for the remainder of his contract. Around the same time, SmackDown began airing vignettes for the debut of a new superstar, Mr. America. And let's just say that Mr. America turned out to be completely different from anything we were expecting.

Coming out with Hulk Hogan's traditional "Real American" theme while sporting the veteran's iconic moustache, the masked Mr. America's debut sent the Hulkamaniacs into meltdown as it was clearly The Hulkster in disguise. It was a well-executed surprise that really caught us all off-guard. Although the angle itself was a little goofy, it was worth it just to hear Hogan's original theme for the first time in over a decade.
