Ranking Kane's 20 WrestleMania Matches From Worst To Best

4. Vs. Kurt Angle - WrestleMania X8

The feud between Kane and Kurt Angle that led into WrestleMania X8 didn't seem particularly inspired - it felt more like two of the company's major stars were directionless at that moment, so they were matched up against one another.

Still, that doesn't mean the match couldn't work, and what followed was Kane's best one-on-one WrestleMania bout. Angle tried to one-up Kane by using "The Big Red Machine's" signature flying clothesline against him, then blocked a Tombstone by grabbing Kane's mask and hitting an Angle Slam.

Angle followed up with the Ankle Lock, but Kane got to the rope, then reached his feet and hit an enzuigiri. Kane climbed to the top, looking for his own flying clothesline, but Angle intercepted him and took him over with a belly to belly suplex from the top. Finally, Kane came back and tried to execute a Chokeslam, but Angle rolled "The Big Red Machine" up for three.
