Ranking Kane's 20 WrestleMania Matches From Worst To Best
12. Vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 20
WrestleMania XX was hyped with the tagline "Where it all begins... again!" and nowhere was that more appropriate than in the match pitting Kane against The Undertaker. Since losing his mask the previous June, Kane had been as dominant as he was since debuting, winning a variety of feuds and avoiding a pinfall loss the entire nine months.
At the Survivor Series, Kane helped Vince McMahon beat "American Bad Ass" Undertaker in a Buried Alive match, but leading into WrestleMania, it was clear that a very familiar iteration of The Undertaker was coming back for Kane, judging from all the supernatural phenomena that plagued "The Big Red Machine."
Sure enough, it was the "Phenom" Undertaker - or at least a hybrid version - that came down to the ring at MSG, Paul Bearer in tow. Undertaker and Kane then proceeded to have a pretty disappointing match, but in this case, it was forgivable. The natural order of things was restored - Undertaker was a zombie, Kane was his villainous foil, and 'Taker was victorious with a Tombstone at WrestleMania.
