Ranking The Futures Of WWE's 9 UK Tournament Entrants

8. Sam Gradwell

With a pasty white complexion and bald head, Sam Gradwell perhaps looks like what most Americans expect a UK independent stalwart to be. There's nothing wrong with Gradwell's appearance however, and it actually helped him stand out from the rest of the crowd during the tournament.

Even equipped with such a unique aesthetic, it's fair to say that Gradwell is the least likely of the quarter finalists to make a serious splash in WWE. He was given a storyline running throughout the two nights though, playing his part well and acting as the perfect foil for Pete Dunne's vicious character.

Attacked by Dunne at the conclusion of night one, Gradwell was then downed by the 'Bruiserweight' in under five minutes the following evening. This was the shortest match of the quarter dinal stage, and that about sums up Gradwell's inclusion.

At only 25 years of age, Sam still has time to find a character of his own that might suit WWE. As things stand, there's arguably not enough (aside from that appearance) about his act to turn heads at the top level.
