Ranking The Futures Of WWE's 9 UK Tournament Entrants
7. Jordan Devlin
Throughout the WWE United Kingdom Title Tournament, Ireland's Jordan Devlin was cast as a protégé of Finn Bálor. The main roster star was even there in attendance during the tournament, and announcers Michael Cole and Nigel McGuinness drew comparisons between Devlin and the first ever WWE Universal Champion.
Relatively small compared to a lot of the other men involved, Devlin still looked good in matches against Danny Burch and Tyler Bate. It's a credit to the guy that his latter match with Bate at the quarter final stage was anyone's guess, even if most probably had their money on the eventual winner of the UK Title.
Against Burch, Devlin received some development in terms of his character. Callous and uncaring over a head injury suffered by his opponent, Devlin was selfish and only delighted to progress.
There may be a slot on NXT or in the Cruiserweight division for Jordan Devlin. It's not easy to see where else he might fit in, as size could be an issue and so could the vanilla gimmick of acting like Finn Bálor-lite.
