Ranking The Futures Of WWE's 9 UK Tournament Entrants

1. Tyler Bate

Going back and forth between Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne, the top position on this list has been reserved for the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion. Although it was a tough decision, it'd be foolish to discount what Bate achieved on 15 January 2017.

Standing proud as the inaugural champ, the 19-year old looked like he could offer something truly different to WWE. Hardly a large man by any stretch of the imagination, Tyler's size shouldn't hold him back. The Englishman comes across like a pint-sized version of William Regal himself, perhaps mixed with Daniel Bryan.

Indeed, Bryan's success in WWE should give Bate heart. The likes of Triple H and Regal will have thought long and hard about who should be the first UK Champion. Choosing Tyler Bate can't have been easy.

One of the youngest champions in WWE history (second only to Rene Dupree), Bate has an entire career in front of him. That's something WWE surely want to capitalise on. They have someone with real staying power who is already mature beyond his years.
