Ranking The Undertaker’s 27 WWE WrestleMania Matches From Worst To Best

If there was one man who knew how to bring out the best in The Undertaker, it was Shawn Michaels. The two veterans had wrestled a great singles match, a perfect Hell In A Cell match and the greatest Casket Match of all time, but that was over a decade prior to their collision at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania. Could two men in their mid-40s turn back the clock and do it all again on Grandest Stage of Them All?

The feat that 'Taker and Michaels pulled off at WrestleMania 25 was unprecedented. I mean, you already knew the match was going to be top of this list, didn't you? There simply wasn't any other match fitting of that spot. And that's not a criticism of The Undertaker's WrestleMania performances because, quite frankly, this writer would be saying the same thing about any WrestleMania - or indeed WWE - list. It was always going to be this one.

It should be considered frustrating that two veterans went out there and put the rest of the talent to shame with their performances, but the magic that they ultimately created sent the crowd into a complete frenzy. An incredible blend of storytelling, stunts and some of the best counters we've ever seen, these two did the impossible by producing a 30 minute match that still left us wanting more.

'Taker and Michaels didn't turn the clock back at WrestleMania 25, they showed us why they were better in the present than they ever were in the past. And, in the process, they produced the greatest match in WrestleMania history.
