After all that, he still couldn't beat The Undertaker. The near falls were unbelievable and kept the crowd on the edge throughout the whole match. In the end, Taker got the win after hitting Hells Gate on HHH. In a shocking turn of events, it was the Phenom who had to be stretchered out of the arena after the match such was the beating he received. This would set up a rivalry that would come alive before Mania a year later.
