Goldberg's World Championship reign had started with a whimper at Unforgiven earlier in the year, and ended in the same way thanks to a rotten triple threat main event with Triple H and Kane.

Raw was sludge as 2003 drew to a close, and this show highlighted the malaise that existed underneath Evolution. Even them holding all the titles to round out the year was a better visual than it was an idea.
