Ranking The Worst Performer In Every WWE Royal Rumble Match

31. 1997 - Jerry Lawler

The Hurricane Big E Bobby Lashley
WWE Network

Lasted 0:04.

One year after his memorable performance hiding under the ring to attain a thirty-plus-minute stretch in the match, Jerry Lawler's 1997 Royal Rumble stint was appalling in comparison. The 'King' went just four seconds in the match, entering as the bout's 20th man before being punched back over the top rope by eventual runner-up Bret Hart.

Lawler himself wasn't a particularly remembered facet of the match, but his elimination was, his body aimlessly flying over the ropes from one 'Hitman' punch. An elimination so good that you can pinpoint exactly which Royal Rumble it comes from, it's since cropped up on a handful of occasions during archived video packages.
