Ranking The Worst Performer In Every WWE Royal Rumble Match
29. 1999 - Gillberg
Lasted 0:06.
Credit where credit's due, Duane Gill was excellent in the role of Gillberg. A hilarious parody of Goldberg at a time when the WWF was overtaking the run-down WCW, Gillberg was largely unsuccessful, a real polar opposite of 'Da Man' - and it got him over like mad.
Entering the 1999 Royal Rumble match as the company's Light Heavyweight Champion with a reign that lasted a recognised 445 days, Gillberg's time in the match wasn't much of note. As he stood pandering to the crowd, Edge very simply tipped him the slightest amount so that he flipped out of the ring, his streak failing to reach that of Goldberg's on this occasion. Six seconds is the acknowledged time for Gillberg's sole Royal Rumble appearance.
