Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Attire Every Year 1990-2021

5. 2017 - Asuka

Wearing a colour for every phenomenal attribute she boasted, Asuka was a kaleidoscope of brilliance in her NXT run.

A stiff striker capable of cinching in submissions in a frenzied blur, her magnetic and totally unique charisma was reflected in her technicolour attire. She was an explosion of brilliance, as marketable as she was invincible, and the sheer range of her genius was reflected in an aesthetic that virtually any other performer would have appeared desperate wearing in a dismal, embarrassing failure to get over.

Seriously: picture any other female performer wearing anything like it. You can't.

Nobody was ready for it.
