Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Attire Every Year 1990-2021

1. 2021 - The Young Bucks

Bret Hart Young Bucks
AEW

The Young Bucks simply reverting to 'PWG Young Bucks' would have worked.

A considerable number of their fans hadn't seen the act during their wonderfully abrasive, sh*t-eating grin peak. They are seeing it now, with their melodrama parody and punchable facials, but this is a different version. It's an evolution: where they once bragged about making money, they are now wearing it.

Visually, the success has gone to their heads quite literally because they are wearing chandeliers on them. They are also wearing ridiculously expensive trainers - and the bit works if they are fake too, sneaker nerds - to convey the idea that they are no longer the humble, DIY types who changed the wrestling world. They are boy band-looking a*seholes who value the worst part of it. This wouldn't have worked in Reseda. It works now that they are disgustingly rich execs.

Because they grasp character and storytelling better than anybody.
