Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Attire Every Year 1990-2021

26. 1996 - Shawn Michaels

Bret Hart Young Bucks
WWE

Shawn Michaels always had a great look. The Rockers wore "happy guy tights" better than most, and upon turning heel, he looked like a complete a**hole. An effective heel a**hole, obviously. He looked like he was in a boy band who thought he was in a hair metal band when hair metal bands were anathema to the men in the audience. It was great, detestable sh*t.

His attire at WrestleMania XII didn't do much to get those men on side - they still saw him as a heel - but it was a great, character-driven look all the same: the white reflected the innocence of the boyhood dream, and the gold foreshadowed the realisation of it. Those men just saw some long-haired pretty boy who didn't wear black.

Ingrates.
