Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Entrance Every Year 1990-2021

18. 2004 - The Undertaker, WWE WrestleMania XX

After four years in tobacco-chewing, laughable nickname exile, the Dead Man returned at WrestleMania XX.

This was a challenge because WWE had to cast the very best of their production magic to honour the moment and restore the power of the old gimmick. They nailed it immediately with the ironically warming wail of Paul Bearer, in what was a glorious opening sting that could only ever work once.

Ominous, Gregorian-adjacent chanting echoed throughout Madison Square Garden as Bearer walked to the ring alongside druids carrying torches. The Druids formed an eerie guard of honour, through which 'Taker followed the old urn.

WWE did every version of the 'Taker entrance in a stunning composite fitting for the iconic occasion.
