Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Entrance Every Year 1990-2021

17. 2005 - The Sandman, ECW One Night Stand

Thank f*cking f*ck for internet piracy, because WWE won't spend a cent of its vast rivers of blood money to preserve the unforgettable memory of the Sandman - who belonged to WWE as much as John Cena belonged to ECW - making his way through the Hammerstein Ballroom to the iconic eruption of Metallica's Enter Sandman.

It was such an awesome moment because it so inconceivable: WWE, the polished monopoly, presented the Sandman as the Sandman.

The brilliantly dumb bastard smashed his own face open with a kendo stick, as was his want, and an awestruck fan went so apesh*t that he did it, too.

Sandman poured beer down exposed throats and on exposed t*ts alike, as every single fan sang along, in the sort of entrance that will, guaranteed, make you listen to the song on repeat for days after you relive it.
