The enduring magic of Hulk Hogan is that he felt like a massive draw even when he decidedly wasn't.

WrestleMania VII marked a shocking decline from his seismic, industry-changing run at the top in the 1980s, but you'd never have forecast a paltry 400,000 buys when he made his entrance at the not LA Memorial Coliseum. In the moment, despite ghoulish narratives and fading cultural relevance, Hulk Hogan always grabbed WWF crowds. They were almost helpless. It can't even be reduced, analysed. He was simply a magician. The WWF knew what the f*ck they were doing by having Hogan wave that flag, and it was awful.

But still.

It's Hogan, isn't it?
