Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Entrance Every Year 1990-2021

2. 2020 - Kenny Omega, AEW Dynamite, October 21

Austin Omega
AEW

"Kenny Omega isn't a star on American television!"

Cut to:

A preposterously overblown ring entrance, complete with two women dancing with brooms, three separate musical phases, and countless gags reeled off by Justin Roberts - who incidentally was born in Illinois, and not North Carolinaaaaaaaa!

All of which was punctuated, after a squash thrashing of Sonny Kiss, with a fantastic facial expression that captured the spirit of this hilarious triumph. By creating a caricature of a pro wrestling entrance, Kenny Omega resonated as that star within mere seconds because, like a wrestling God, he was a singles star all along. He simply turned it back on like a faucet when it was his time. It was that easy for him, and you were that much of a fool for doubting him.

This was your punishment: he rubbed your nose in the sh*t take.
