Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Entrance Every Year 1990-2021

26. 1996 - The Undertaker, WWF Survivor Series

On principle, Shawn Michaels' entrance at WrestleMania XII isn't being included here because it didn't remotely marry up to the match. That zip line entrance, no matter how iconic, had the temerity to suggest that the Heartbreak Kid was going to take tremendous risks to realise his 'Boyhood Dream'.

He didn't.

He realised it by lying on the canvas for 48 minutes before the match got good, and only winning it in f*cking unscheduled overtime.

The Undertaker descending into the Survivor Series arena like winged hell-spawn is an adequate - and cool as sh*t - replacement.

That match was a disappointment too, but it didn't last for six days at least.
