Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Entrance Theme Every Year 1990-2021

15. 2007 - Davey Richards

Davey Richards was delightfully dumb, just propelling himself out of the ring with no regard for his own safety and no-selling the hardest-looking sh*t. A disciple of "dumb jock wrestling," he was also delightfully dumb enough to use an all-time bad band in WASP to soundtrack him to the ring.

It shouldn't work. 'Charisma' works like he does - nothing really builds or peaks, it's just a wall of masculine bragging that starts as it ends - but it's a portrait of the man, nonetheless, that sounds very cool in a very artless sort of way. You'd get tired of banging your head after a while, just like the 38th minute of his matches were pure overkill.

But there's an intensity to it inexplicable in its charm.
