Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Entrance Theme Every Year 1990-2021

12. 2010 - KENTA

KENTA was the coolest wrestler on the planet for a long time, and it helped that he starred in a broadly dismal 2000s defined by major promotions in decline and creaking old stars on top.

KENTA was the antidote to all of it and a pioneer of the greatness that followed, and of his mix tape of collected hip hop entrance songs, the instrumental of TI's 'What You Know' best nailed his incredible swagger. It sounds like king sh*t, a coronation before he even stepped through the ropes, and while it's more upbeat than his own disposition - so much so that it took people aback initially - it still works.

It was the ideal theme to transition KENTA from snotty disrespectful prick to a new evolution of the establishment.
