Ranking What Was Really The Best Wrestling Entrance Theme Every Year 1990-2021

28. 1994 - Bret Hart

There's a strong argument to be made that Bret Hart is the most timeless professional wrestler ever.

His work looked beautiful without ever verging on the neat, like a fight without ever wearing the drab qualities of a struggle. His pacing was mesmerising; he didn't need the melodrama nor the co-operation that so often undoes suspension of disbelief.

His theme was a fitting accompaniment; in an age where genres of popular guitar music were rendered lame within a year, the swaggering build was just reined in enough to not feel like a c*ck rock strut, the synths not too overblown. It was the pink and black of themes: beautiful without ever not being as hard as nails.
