Mi-sa-wa! Mi-sa-wa! Mi-sa-wa! Mi-sa-wa! Mi-sa-wa!

The great Mitsuharu Misawa was at his very peak in 1997: so established as a legend with a death blow that even damaging his mythical elbow was a source of immense drama. His theme was oddly extravagant for a man with such a stoic quality, but no less of a spectacle. A space rock odyssey that built and twisted like his incredible, lengthy epics, the histrionics were eaten up and echoed back by his screaming, adoring public. The opening was perfection in particular: the slow, graduating classical piano set the stage for a man more worthy than most of the grandiose introduction.
