Ranking What Was REALLY The Worst Wrestling Match Every Year 1990-2021

18. 2004 - Brock Lesnar Vs. Goldberg, WWE WrestleMania XX

Kronik Nia Jax

Two totally uninterested mercenaries taking the huff in Madison Square Garden.

They're not blameless. The WWE schedule is brutal, and fair f*cks to Lesnar for recognising his worth. Goldberg meanwhile was deliberately miscast because WWE always has to win, even to spite themselves.

But still: a lot of people paid good money to watch a dream match, and instead of going out with the middle fingers flipped, with a defiant professional pride, Lesnar and Goldberg rolled their eyes and meandered through a dulled version of the most half-arsed match they could have had.
