Ranking What Was REALLY The Worst Wrestling Match Every Year 1990-2021

19. 2003 - Triple H Vs. Scott Steiner, WWE Royal Rumble

Not watching it again.

Some suplexes, punches and kicks probably happened. Hazy, suppressed memories confirm this.

Triple H worked it to deliberately expose a thrashed, past-his-awesome-peak Scott Steiner as a lesser wrestler than him. He worked an 18 minute match with the sole intention of making himself look good because by 2003 he was already cooked as a performer and was incapable of carrying anybody. And, with a defensive arrogance, he just sandbagged sh*t to make him the least bad element of it.

Bret Hart would never.
