Ranking What Was REALLY The Worst Wrestling Match Every Year 1990-2021

3. 2019 - The Fiend Vs. Seth Rollins, WWE Hell In A Cell

Filmed against a red-lit backdrop that was meant to evoke a cartoonish image of the underworld, all they had to do to elicit this feeling was ring the f*cking bell.

A match that was impossible to watch, much less invest in, the Fiend played an invincible killer that the referee felt sorry for by the finish and thus threw the match out. This, despite the Fiend threatening to use a larger mallet than Rollins wielded. His weapon did look funnier, in fairness.

So why the f*ck should anybody be scared of him?

Staggeringly illogical even in its own dumb, heightened context, nobody had any idea what hurt the Fiend or didn't.

Even fewer people cared.
