Ranking What Was REALLY The Worst Wrestling Match Every Year 1990-2021

29. 1993 - Dustin Rhodes & King Kong Vs. The Equalizer & King Kong

Wacky random stakes-bereft concept, even more dismal execution: the second-worst version of WCW meekly abandoned BattleBowl in a rare display of humility, and the WWE of 2021 has adapted the strange bedfellows trope as its primary storyline driver.

Idiots.

Dustin Rhodes spent much of this hideous match trying to dropkick Awesome Kong off his feet; to sell it, the behemoth just stumbled around, trying not to gas himself by flailing his arms about. Equalizer fared little better. He couldn't even get into position to perform a leg drop off the ropes.

When Rhodes tagged in King Kong to wrestle his normal partner, he just tagged back out, rendering the whole thing a waste of bastard time - much like RAW in 2021, only with slightly worse in-ring action.
