Ranking WWE's 12 PPVs In 2014

12. Tables, Ladders & Chairs And Stairs (December 14)

Best Matches: Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper Worst Matches: Big Show vs. Erick Rowan, Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee, Kane vs. Ryback, Rusev vs. Jack Swagger This isn't the worst PPV because it's fresh in our minds. It's the worst because that's what it was. There were all kinds of things wrong with TLC, which was a card loaded with gimmick matches that were completely unnecessary. The Chairs Match with Ryback beating Kane was really boring. They used chairs for the majority of the match, then it ended with a weak looking Shellshock finishing move. Show's match with Erick Rowan was a slow and plodding contest. AJ Lee looked like she didn't even care to be in the ring during her match with Nikki Bella. It was also a bad night for match finishes in the two biggest matches. Cena's match with Rollins saw four other guys involved, a ref bump, two other refs showing up, a false finish that was a draw and then it finally ended after nearly 25 minutes of action. It was just too long. Ziggler's Ladder match win over Harper was excellent. They put their bodies on the line, took some hard bumps from start to finish and had the best match as the opener. Little did we know that it was all downhill from there. The ending of Bray Wyatt's match with Dean Ambrose was silly because it didn't put over Wyatt as the winner. He won because the television that Ambrose was holding exploded and that was enough to cost him the match. It was a bad way to end the 2014 PPV year, but the good thing is they were better earlier in the year.
