Ranking WWE's First Ever NXT Class - From Worst To Best

29. Rick Victor

NXT Roster 2012

Viktor, who was perhaps the more charismatic of the two despite a size disparity.

Ultimately, The Ascension have been immortalised by the WWE Network's NXT archives even if their Raw and SmackDown runs left very little to get enthused about. Pointedly, the low ebb for the duo came at the hands (more specifically the arms and fists) at some of the teams that should have been there to put them over. Viktor was almost credible talking down to the New World Order on the January 19th, 2015, until the APA and New Age Outlaws arrived on the scene to easily decimate the pair of them.

It was the typical reductive trapped-in-the-past nonsense from a creative team obsessed with it, and The Ascension were just the latest losers caught in the crossfire.

But believe the hype if there's still any kicking around - those black-and-gold tag squashes were a blast
