Real Reason AEW's Tay Conti Deleted Her Twitter Account

AEW's Tay Conti is taking a social media break, her management team have confirmed.

Tay Conti has become the latest All Elite Wrestling star to remove herself from Twitter - at least temporarily.

The Brazilian appeared to deactivate her account, @tayconti_, over the weekend. Her Instagram profile is still up, with Conti's management team (Xpand Marketing) using the Stories feature to reveal that Tay is taking a break from social media:-

Hello friends,This is Tay's management team writing to let you know Tay is doing good but will be stepping away from social media for a couple days.In the mean time we will be posting on Tays behalf throughout the week. This includes normal posts as well as some sponsored posts that we have already recorded earlier in the month that must be posted this week.Thank you for reading, Happy Holidays from Tay & her management team!

Whether or not returning from this break will mean Conti reactivating her Twitter account is unclear.

Nonetheless, Tay's move follows fellow AEW roster members Jade Cargill and Cody Rhodes, both of whom have stepped away from Twitter in recent months. Like Conti, both are still active on Instagram, with Rhodes turning his old Twitter account over to AEW's community outreach program.
