Vince McMahon continues to put together one of the best wrestling programs by selecting Christian with his eighth pick, joining the likes of Edge, RVD, Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle to form their own possible Smackdown Six. Christian recently has been subject to a losing streak, but has enough upside to warrant a pick, and is a former Tag Team, Intercontinental, Hardcore, and European Champion.
This pick will work out nicely for Vince. After undergoing a bit of an image makeover, Christian reinvented himself as Captain Charisma, finding his voice and reclaiming the Intercontinental Championship. After leaving the company in 2005, he returned in 2009 capturing the ECW and World Heavyweight Championships.
